Claude Monet 2009 Slim Appointment Calendar
Claude Monet 2009 Slim Appointment Calendar. Claude Monet also known as Oscar-Claude Monet or Claude Oscar Monet was a French Impressionist painter. His painting Impression, Sunrise was the source for the naming of the Impressionism movement. It was during the time when Claude Monet was disillusioned with the traditional art taught at universities that he joined the studio of Charles Gleyre in Paris, where he met Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Frederic Bazille, and Alfred Sisley. Together they shared new approaches to art, which later came to be known as Impressionism, featuring open spaces and light painted with thick brushstrokes. This slim appointment calendar features an illustration taken of one of Claude Monet's most renown paintings for every month of the year.
